Officers invade, steal food co-op
Submitted by Wayne on Thu, 2008-12-18 08:27. JusticeI think I would have begun firing, justly and lawfully, at the unidentified invaders. This is a result of a stupid police force. Being largely unaccountable for Constitutional violations and unafraid of a disarmed populace, such abuses will only get worse. » read more »
Sword Names
Submitted by Wayne on Mon, 2008-12-01 09:45. Arms | Bible | Doctrine | Holiness | Home Life | Justice | WarI'm interested in soliciting ideas for a name for my katana. My favorite front-runner presently is Aletheia ("truth"). Do you have any suggestions you'd like to propose?
Capital Punishment debate
Submitted by Charla on Mon, 2008-09-22 08:52. Doctrine | Justice | LawWorking late last night on lesson plans away from home, I had the opportunity to eavesdrop on a group of Christian 20-somethings discuss several in-depth issues. To hear them debate, I was feeling quite old and matronly (two different things). However, their discussion was thought-provoking and good mental exercise vs. the phonics lessons I was planning.
Not sure if I've seen it here, so I'll throw it out now. » read more »
Jury system is broken
Submitted by Wayne on Mon, 2008-08-25 12:46. Justice | LawNeed I say more than this? Jurors who question the legitimacy of unconstitutional or immoral laws are kicked off the jury. In short, we can all rest assured that juries--the last check and balance against government tyranny in the courts--will blindly obey the will of their government masters. How is this freedom? » read more »

Sane Murder
Submitted by Wayne on Wed, 2007-11-21 12:17. JusticeThe courts and the populace have been steadily growing toward a logical and spiritual fallacy, and this trend will result in dire consequences for our society. Increasingly, people seem to believe a murderer must be insane to commit whatever heinous murder he committed (e.g.; counterpoint). In particular, common thought now suggests it somehow requires a greater degree of mental illness to murder someone with a blade than with a firearm. » read more »
A Remnant
Submitted by Linda Franklin on Fri, 2007-11-02 09:05. Justice | PoliticsI have read some of the blogs on this site and I feel a need to say something. I have lived a long time and have observed a lot of history. I have been involved in politics since I was 16 years old. I was Vice President of Tennessee's Young Americans for Freedom, Young Republicans Club, been an assistant delegate to conventions, etc. I care so much for freedom as that is what the Lord has given us -- free will. I believe that we can practice the Christian Faith so much better in a Capitalistic Society (economics) and I believe more in a Republic which is what our Founding Fathers intended for us to have instead of a Democracy. » read more »
First, check the Constitution
Submitted by Dave on Wed, 2007-10-24 22:14. Justice | Law | Patriots | Politics | StupidityNot long ago, I happened to reread an old blog post of mine that deals with the issue of the powers granted to the federal government by the Constitution. After I finished reading my "additional thoughts" at the end, another thought occurred to me. When President Washington was considering the bill, passed by Congress, that would enact a national bank, he wanted to investigate whether it was supported by the Constitution before he signed it into law. This seems like a reasonable approach to me, but unfortunately, today's lawmakers don't seem to have much regard for the Constitution. » read more »
To protect and serve... themselves
Submitted by Dave on Thu, 2007-10-11 16:53. Justice | Law | StupidityStill think the police are there to "protect and serve"? Ask this grandmother about that. Seems she was walking her dog in the park when a teen took a shot at her with a handgun. Naturally, she went to the police. Their response: "Walk your dog somewhere else."
