Dogs are better pets than cats, and here are a few reasons why. First of all, cats are always scratching up the furniture, and ruining the curtains. They’re always jumping onto high places, and getting into special things. If you had a cat, you couldn’t have any beaded lamp shades, bead curtains, or canopies because the cat would “play” with them and destroy them! They would get into your cabinets and all sorts of other places that were not “cat proof”. This means you would have to completely cat proof your house, or there would be trouble following the cat all around. On the other hand, a dog doesn’t ruin anything. Instead, he plays with his chew toys. You can also take dogs to the park, go for long walks, and play fetch or Frisbee with them. They’re a lot more active, although, they can be sleepy and snuggly, too. When you’re sick, your dog will come and lay with you, to take care of you. But adult dogs would never scratch up the furniture, or chew on things they’re not supposed to. Dogs are truly “man’s best friend”.
